Anderson was born in the south of Brazil; He joined YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in 98 while serving teams in the Amazon establishing community development projects in isolated villages where health care and education is scarce and poor in quality wherever offered. Anderson continued being a facilitator and networker for the various projects in the Amazon until 2007. His latest project was helping to establish Marine Reach’s (YWAM’s Maritime division) vision into the Brazilian Amazon, Mozambique, Ukraine, Guinea Bissau and other parts of the world. He was also involved in a number of projects within Marine Reach’s initiatives such as: Mercy Trucks (Mobile Clinic Ministries) ; Marine Reach Tanzania; Mission Reach and more. This ministry has been operating small hospital ships into various part of the world, bringing free health care, education, health education, leadership training and the awareness of faith in God through Christ. Anderson is married to Jo Crispim. Jo was born in Cambridgeshire, England,  she is a GP and serves as a  Doctor in Hertfordshire area, where they live.
